We never leave home without it...our official lime green waterproof Miami Mermaid travel case. It has frequent flyer miles along with the scrapes and scratches of years and years of trusty use.
But there's a funny story never told until now! We had a Valentine's gig at the beautiful Coral Gables Biltmore Hotel and somehow our trusty case would not unlock! With only moments to go until we went on, the only thing we found to pick the lock was a restaurant knife! We tried jumping on the case, but ricocheted off it. Atlast, it opened. We hurriedly put the rest of our accessories on then jumped in the pool - no one knew! The ppol was FREEZING and was our coldest swim ever, but aleast the gig went on becasue we were able to open our "trusty" green case. LOL
An Unusual place for mermaids - Burning Man >>
Circa 2011 & 2018 // Burning Man is a desolate, but creative and fun place that is located way out west in Black Rock, New Mexico. It has no water and is extremely dusty and the Miami Mermaids made not one trip, but two. We wore "desert mermaid tails" and dedicated an entire day of posing with other "Burners." Everyone loved posing with the mermaids and were able to download all the photos! )'(
